Hotel Malcesine, Malcesine

The hotel is in a fantastic location right on the lake front with steps leading into the lake from the hotel patio/sunbathing area. The rooms had some drawbacks like a stale smell and unconventional furnishings, and the service seemed lacking in enthusiasm although they served reasonably priced delicious meals. The dining options were adequate with a decent variety, and the location is unbeatable, right in the center of town near restaurants, bars, and shops.
